William ("Willie") Wheeler served in the US Army during WWI.

Gerald Wheeler was killed during WWII, on September 9, 1943, in Mt. Soprano, Italy, at age 19.

Willie and his wife Julia both died and are buried in the Concord Cemetery in Concord, Minnesota.
